Community Spirits began operations in 1995 under the guidance and ownership of C. Darrell Henry (President and CEO) and Charles S. Eberhardt, II (General Counsel and COO). The company grew to nineteen stores in 2008 when Mr. Henry retired to Atlanta, Georgia and sold his share of the company to Mr. Eberhardt. From January 2009 to present, the company expanded to twenty one locations throughout the greater metropolitan area of Indianapolis.

The company employs more than 100 people and has added to the Community Spirits operations name: Triangle Liquors, Value Liquors, Mr C’s Discount Liquor Shack, Vickie’s Liquors and Eagle Creek Liquors. Community Spirits is active in the Indianapolis community as seen through its support and contributions to many neighborhood organizations, youth sports and social programs. Community Spirits stores hopes to provide adult beverages in a responsible manner for those old enough to consume alcohol. Community Spirits has more than 100 wine selections, 150 beers and countless spirits options.
